This Says It All

I truly believe this video says it all. Garth Brooks captured the essense of this song in a way no other could. We all dance and in fact are dancing everyday. The question is, who are we dancing with? God bless to all who are to come, all who have came, and most of all The Dance.

Day of Questions

Have you ever had a day filled with this kind of chaos? Where your mind is spinning so fast that it seems there's nothing but questions. Questions such as:

Why are people so inconsiderate? Why do they only think of themselves? Why dont they understand me? Is it me? Is it them? What did I do? Why would she do this to me? What did I do to make you hurt me like this? Don't you love me? How could you? Will I see you again? How could they not listen to me? Can I forgive them?

Answers are often no where to be found, and questions are all we need. So, if you ever have a day where questions are ruling your thoughts, don't try to answer, just ask.

A Great Friend

I was sitting and pondering what to blog about when I came across this photo of a great friend. Her name was Abby, a German Shepherd Dog of the greatest kind. I had the astute privilege of knowing this dog and loving her with all my heart. As tears begin to well from my eyes, I fight to keep them from turning into rivers. I think about all the things in my short life that have come and gone many with regrets others with none at all. But one thing that I can say for certain is that this was a dogs dog, she never hurt anyone, and was always loyal and loving to the highest order of the word. She would have done anything to preserve that love. I miss her terribly and will to the day I leave this earthly life, she was a great friend indeed. I love you Abby

Gracie Watson

"Frozen in Memory"

Little Gracie Watson was born in 1883, the only child of her parents. Her father was manager of the Pulaski House, one of Savannah's leading hotels, where the beautiful and charming little girl was a favorite with the guests. Two days before Easter, in April 1889, Gracie died of pneumonia at the age of six. In 1890, when the rising sculptor, John Walz, moved to Savannah, he carved from a photograph this life-sized, delicately detailed marble statue, which for almost a century has captured the interest of all passersby.
