I Ponder: Victory

Just When I Think I've Made The Corner

BOO!

Again Out Jumps Another Ghoul

But

If I Fight Through

Eventually

I'll Make It To The Exit

I Ponder: Love

Don't Search And Chase Love You Do Not Have

It Only Fuels Loneliness

But

Embrace Love You Already Have

And

Love Will Grow.

This Day I Embrace My Love My Life

For It's Her Birthday

Charmaine My Wife!

Happy Birthday
I Love You!

Clear and Pure

Encompassing Tree:
Filled With Life

I Ponder: If I Were

If I Were A Bird
I Think I'd Chirp

If I Were A Whale
I Think I'd Spout

But
I'm A Human

So

I Think I'll Just...

Smile!

Everything Has Its Time: Eccl. Ch. 3

To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven:
  • A time to be born, and a time to die
  • A time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted
  • A time to kill, and a time to heal
  • A time to break down, and a time to build up
  • A time to weep, and a time to laugh
  • A time to mourn, and a time to dance
  • A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones
  • A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing
  • A time to gain, and a time to lose
  • A time to keep, and a time to throw away
  • A time to tear, and a time to sew
  • A time to keep silent, and a time to speak
  • A time to love, and a time to hate
  • A time of war, and a time of peace
What profit has the worker from that in which he labors?
I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives,
and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor...it is the gift of God.

I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.

That which is has already been, and what is to be has already been; And God requires an account of what is past.

Moreover, I saw under the sun:
  • In the place of judgement, WICKEDNESS was there; and in the place of righeousness, INIQUITY was there.
I said in my heart,

" God shall judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work."

I said in my heart, " Concerning the sons of men, God tests them, that they may see that they themselves are like animals." For what happens to the sons of men also happens to the animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Surely, they all have one breath; man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity. All go to one place: all are from the dust, and all return to dust.

Who knows the spirit of the sons of men, which goes upward, and the spirit of the animal, goes down to the earth? So I perceived that nothing is better than that a man should rejoice in his own works, for that is his heritage. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?

Our Time

OUR TIME

Each day that is here, I’m so thankful you are near: to comfort, to hold until we are old.

Our life together… begun to last.

Your skin silk soft, eyes blissfully brown, dark long hair,
Oh...how that sounds.

The Lord has been here and always there: to guide us, to fulfill us, as we walk hand in hand through life’s journey of
*Footprints in the Sand.*

Some things certain,
The rewards on this earth will always be: our Lord, our children,
and my sweet darling you.

Now when the time comes for our age to take stage, God's will and His glory will be our story.
The people we'll have blessed and seed that we'll have sown, the reaping rewards, in heaven we'll own.

But one thing’s for sure,
I'll still have a twinkle that shines so bright, for you my love, like a morning star flickers at night.

Drum Solo

Sitting down on my stool, I comfort myself. I move in and snug the snare reaching for the sticks I glare the drums. Silent and still no sound to be heard, I think for a moment then begin a pattern that's fluid and familiar but completely unknown. I've entered a realm that I cannot explain. It's as if my arms and legs are moving as they see fit to do and where they see fit to go. The rhythms are known but are randomly flowing from my thoughts as quickly as I can maneuver, no time to count, no time to think, just improvise. I roll off the snare and across a tom and crash a cymbal simultaneously thumping the bass. A volley of syncopation, rudimentary and smooth, as I roar to a decrescendo that's as still as a morning dew. I begin again off the hats, switching back and forth from left to right, rolling the bass in an accepted flux and head to a crescendo of cymbal clashing collage. The room continues to reverberate short and sustained as I slide the sticks back into their home until their awakened again to join in another union of fury and flare.

Amazed and Inspired

I am amazed!

Surfing around blogs today, and other days since starting my blogs in august, I found that depth, ingenuity, art, creativity, and most of all morality abound in this universe that's called the blogosphere. This to me is utterly amazing and inspiring. When I stumbled upon Blogger it was with the intent to express myself, I've only just begun. I've been an artistic person all my life, playing guitar, drums, etc. all of which are self taught. So to discover this huge community of people who share the same interests in art and crafting as I do, again, is awesome and awe inspiring. I thank Blogger for providing this service and you the people of the blogosphere for your commitment and inspiration to me.

The Slowskys - You Come Push It - LOL!!

This is one of my favorite tv commercials.
I Love the Slowskys

Frank Sinatra - The King

Francis Albert "Frank" Sinatra
(December 12, 1915 – May 14, 1998)

Frank was 28 years old when this video was shot.

This is another example of Frank's perfection, singing Old Man River. He's approximately 30 years old.

This is Frank at his best, singing My Way at a 1974 ABC TV Special. He's 59 years old.

This final video, again My Way, is said to be Frank's last concert performance in 1994. Listen to the, still evident, power and durability in his voice. Amazing at 78 years old.

Peacfulness

The Peace

I remember walking the beach collecting seashells and sand dollars. My wife, Charmaine, by my side hand and hand like new lovers on a first date. The day was cool, clear, and seagulls flew about in the fresh ocean mist.

"Honey, Charmaine began as we walked along, our feet smashing into the sand like a wave crashes the shoreline, why do you think it's so peaceful at the ocean?"

As I pondered her question, I look out across the water and viewed the horizon, it was shimmering with a haze like the heat lifts in July. The smell of the sea lashed my face as the mist sprayed my hair. I drift to thoughts from times past, where the beach and ocean had also captivated me, and begin to answer her question that I now asked myself.

"Charmaine," I said, "I'm not really sure why it's so peaceful here, but I would say that the beach is a meeting place of sorts, where people come for all kinds of reasons. Some come for fun and some come to sun, and many just to walk and run. But I believe we all come for one common reason... to kiss the face of God. Some know it and some don't, but whether we know it or not, He's gently kissing us back."

We continued to walk and collect our things for the better part of the day while the peace that surpasses all understanding kept our hearts, minds and souls.

"The beach and ocean are a wonderful place for me. I love the serenity I feel when I'm there; I believe there is no other place like it on earth. I wrote this small piece from a memory of my wife and I collecting things at the beach."
